The ranking order of the six topmost Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) remained the same in the week 47 of TAM TV ratings. The channel’s to gain this week are Zee TV, Life OK and Sony Entertainment Television (SET).
Thus, Zee TV at number three reported 433 million GVTs, up from 419 million GVTs, Life OK continues to have a strong run at number four with 326 million GVTs, up from 313 million GVTs and SET at number six garnered 207 million GVTs, up from 190 million GVTs.

The numero uno Star Plus scored 631 million GVTs, down from 658 million GVTs, Colors at number two recorded 482 million GVTs, down from 483 million GVTs and Sab noted 276 million GVTs, down from 296 million GVTs at number five.
On the other hand, Big Magic stood at 69 million GVTs, up from 61 million GVTs.
Zindagi and Sony Pal shared the same position with 30 million GVTs.
Epic, the segmented Hindi entertainment channel which launched on 19 November, managed to clock just 1.2 GVMs (gross television viewership in million) in its three-and-a-half-day run.
Sahara One was at No 9 with 10 GVMs compared to 9 in the previous week.
