Confessions and Fireworks in the Bigg Boss house

We all know that the confession room in the Bigg Boss house is the one place where the housemates have the liberty to speak their heart out wherein the good, bad and ugly is revealed. But ever wondered what could happen when these confessions come out of the closed rooms and are discussed in the open? Well, its time to rest your curiosity because something similar has already happened in the Bigg Boss house when the housemates are asked to indulge in a tête-à-tête and confess whatever they have spoken about their fellow-contestants behind their backs.

In the evening, Gauahar Khan, Ajaz Khan, Sangram Singh, VJ Andy and Tanishaa Mukherjee gather in the living area and spill the beans about each other. Andy is the first one to go and he tells Gauahar that he has never liked Kushal and has always doubted their future. He also tells Tanishaa that he did not appreciate her picking a fight with him and blowing things out of proportion. Ajaz tells Tanishaa that he did not appreciate Tanishaa’s cold behavior and always complained about it to Sangram.

Making most of this opportunity, Ajaz tries to mend his friendship with Gauahar and tells her that he considers her to be a dear friend. Sangram being at his diplomatic best tells Gauahar that he did talk about her being a player and influencing people but has never had hard feelings for her. Gauahar and Tanishaa’s confessions, however, leads to a fight between them where they accuse each other of holding back a lot of things that they have spoken about each other.

With a lot of dark secrets being revealed in this session, what new twists will it bring in the finale week of Bigg Boss?

While the housemates are having a discussion and breaking their heads to come up with a name, Gauahar voluntarily opts out of the discussion saying that she doesn’t want the briefcase. Andy further suggests that the briefcase should go to Sangram as he is one of the strongest and toughest contenders in the game. Not being able to lock one name even after having a series of discussions, the housemates decide to go for a voting system. One by one, the housemates start giving out names except Tanishaa who is not in favour of voting system and backs out at the last moment. Bigg Boss 7 - Day 98 Synopsis

The countdown to the Grand Finale begins as there are only 6 contestants left after Armaan’s exit from the Bigg Boss house. Bringing along the Weekend Ka WOW for one last time, Salman Khan enters with a bang dancing to Dhinka Chika.  He further enters the house through ME TV to play a rapid fire round along with the housemates.  Salman makes sure that he grills all the housemates and gets them to answer all the hard-hitting questions.

Firstly, Salman asks Tanisha about her opinion on Armaan Kohli’s exit and the life after that. He further asks her that who is most intelligent person in the house according to her. The first very obvious name that comes from Tanisha Mukherjee is of that of Armaan and the second one is of Shilpa. Gauahar Khan is asked about the possibility of her friendship with Tanisha to which Gauahar answers by saying that it is possible but only after Bigg Boss ends and not while the ladies are staying under the same roof.

As the episode progresses, Salman introduces two special guests for the evening, Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra who appear on stage dancing to the tunes of the title song of Haasi toh Faasi.  While Salman asks Parineeti and Siddharth about their new movie, he also asks them to name their favourite contestants. While Siddharth mentions Sangram , Parineeti expresses her liking for Andy and Sangram.

Salman later takes Parineeti and Siddharth inside the house through ME TV and introduces them to all the housemates. While the housemates are delighted to see the duo, they are given a task by Salman to make Parineeti laugh. Gauahar makes the first attempt and tries to imitate a small kid but fails to impress Parineeti. Andy is the next one to try his luck and successfully manages to tickle her funny bone. Even Ajaz prove his mettle and impresses Parineeti with his humour. Parineeti declares Andy and Ajaz as the winners of the task after which Siddharth and Parineeti make an exit.

The next moment, Armaan enters for his chat with Salman after coming out of the house and gives Salman a tight hug. Armaan shares his experience of staying in the Bigg Boss house and tells Salman that he has successfully completed his anger management course here. Armaan expresses his desire to see Tanisha and enters the house through ME TV. Armaan interacts with the housemates who further tell him that they are missing his voice badly as they had become habitual to it. Armaan is asked to crown the hero of the house and the villain of the house. He crowns Tanisha as the hero while Andy is tagged as the villain of the house. Just when Armaan is about to leave the stage, Kushal makes a dramatic entry leaving Armaan in shock. Unlike the last time, they both hug each other after which Armaan makes an exit.

Salman welcomes Kushal and takes him inside the house through ME TV. When Salman takes him inside the house through ME TV, Gauahar gets very excited to see Kushal Tandon. Salman further gets on to the topic of Kushal receiving fewer votes than Ajaz Khan. Soon after, Kushal and Ajaz get into a banter wherein they call each other names and when they refuse to stop, Salman has no option but to pull Kushal out of the house. Salman wishes Kushal best luck after which he makes an exit.

Thanks to Bigg Boss I have learnt lessons about patience, anger management: Armaan Kohli

Undoubted the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss Season Saath 7, Armaan Kohli, said goodbye to the Bigg Boss house, just about 7 days before the show’s Grand Finale. Armaan has always come across as a short-tempered person who was engaged in a series of conflicts during his stay in the Bigg Boss house.

But as they say, every coin has two sides to it. Behind this aggressive Armaan, there resided a caring and affectionate man who came to the forefront to protect his fellow housemates from being targeted by others. Armaan always put his friends before everything and gave them a lot of importance.  Armaan’s first major outburst was during his argument with Andy when the latter passed personal comments regarding him that led to the creation of a certain perception about him in everybody’s mind. Following this incident, Armaan received a lot of criticism for every other incident. During his stay in the house, Armaan found a great friend in Tanishaa Mukherjee who stood by him through thick and thin. She was his sole confidant in the house and helped him sail through all the difficult times. Apart from Tanishaa, Armaan shared a great bond with Pratyusha banerjee, whom he fondly called ‘Chutki’ and Kamya Punjabi though they both had their own tiffs due to circumstances and misunderstandings.

Speaking about his exit from the Bigg Boss house, Armaan said, “My journey inside the Bigg Boss house has been quite overwhelming. I have seen highs and lows and the roller-coaster ride has taught me a lot about myself and my surroundings. Thanks to Bigg Boss I have learnt lessons about patience, anger management and also gained a lot of control over myself. Even at times when I have lost my cool, I have ensured I apologized thereafter and mended my ways. Today, as I leave the show, I am content knowing that I am stepping out without any animosities and with a clean heart. My only regret is that I wish I would have been able to stay inside for one more week, and come out with all the remaining contestants, who I will miss dearly.”

Bigg Boss 7- Day 96 Synopsis

As the countdown begins to the Grand Finale of this season of Bigg Boss, the rage of competitiveness is racing through the house and is also resulting in a lot of misunderstandings and disputes amongst the housemates.

Early in the morning, Tanishaa Mukherjee is seen talking to Ajaz while Armaan Kohli has an annoyed look on his face. When Armaan spots Tanishaa offering breakfast and tea to Ajaz, he warns Tanishaa to avoid mingling around with Ajaz. Tanishaa is surprised to see signs of insecurity coming from Armaan but feels good about the possessiveness Armaan shows for her.

Later in the morning, while Sangram is busy with his yoga session, Ajaz Khan happens to pass comments on him and even ends up calling him spineless. Sangram gets offended by Ajaz’s remarks and warns him to stay away from him. Sangram also makes Ajaz realise that it was because of Sangram Singh that he could win the luxury budget task Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Ajaz clarifies that it was because of Armaan and not Sangram that he could make his place secure in the finale.

While Sangram and Ajaz continue to squabble in the garden area, Andy is seen getting miffed with Sangram for his hypocritical behaviour in the kitchen. When Sangram enters the room, he finds Andy expressing his discontentment for Sangram and how he has let Andy down. Sangram tries to provide an explanation for his behaviour but Andy refuses to indulge in any conversation with him. Further when Sangram insists, Andy snaps at him and blames Sangram for faking friendship with him and for running away when Andy needed him the most.  Sangram gets agitated listening to Andy put allegations on him that resulted in an ugly fight. Further, Sangram leaves the room in order to avoid any further altercations.

Later in the day, after the fight subdues, Tanishaa goes up to Andy and tries to make him understand that Sangram is his best friend and their dispute is because of the difference in opinion. Tanishaa further advices Andy to calm down and have a peaceful conversation with Sangram in private. Armaan on the other side tells Sangram that Andy loves him a lot and that he should apologise to him. Sangram agrees with Armaan and decides to resolve the matter.

Towards the afternoon, when Gauahar is seated in the bedroom, Ajaz makes another attempt to talk to her. But when Gauahar ignores him completely, Ajaz feels insulted and leaves the place. As the day proceeds, Sangram makes the first move to apologise Andy. Sangram accepts all his mistakes in front of Andy and asks for forgiveness. As Sangram justifies himself, he bursts into tears and gives Andy a tight hug. Even Andy is unable to hold back his emotions and breaks down.

Later in the evening, while Andy and Ajaz are talking and calling each other funny names, Ajaz goes a little overboard and passes personal comments on him. Andy dislikes the fact that Ajaz is crossing the limit and decides to irritate him even further. As the day comes to an end, luxury budget items related task is announced where the housemates are asked to sit next to each other in a straight line and pass on the goods to each other with their mouth. The housemates have to take care that they do drop any luxury budget item as it won’t fetch them any points. They successfully manage to put together a table full of luxury budget goods at the end of the task.

Why Andy is maintaining a distance from Sangram Singh?

The courtroom session with Rajat Sharma did certainly unmark some of the personality traits of the Bigg Boss housemates that went unnoticed till now. One such contestant being Sangram, who has always maintained a diplomatic stand since the beginning of the show. When Rajat questioned Sangram about not protecting Andy when he was being attacked by Kushal, Sangram did not have an answer as he had escaped from the situation.

It came as a shock for Andy when Rajat showed a clip of Andy and Kushal’s fight where Sangram could clearly be seen standing in a corner. Since that time, We will see Andy maintaining a distance from Sangram and has not been talking to him. In the morning, while Ajaz and Sangram are having a conversation, Andy overhears Sangram complaining about him and joins in the conversation. Andy, who is already upset with Sangram, gets even more agitated which leads to an intense argument between them. Andy is seen yelling on top of his voice while asking Sangram for a justification for not being by his side when he was being targeted by Kushal. The situation goes out of hand when Sangram in a harsh tone tells Andy that he is playing the game for himself and doesn’t want to lose it because of someone else. Sangram’s discourteous behavior compels Andy to break all ties with his dear friend Sangram.

Is this the end of the remarkable friendship of Sangram and Andy?

COLORS redefines love with Rangrasiya

Jaipur, December 19, 2013: Hatred… Betrayal... Deceit... Destruction… These are words that we seldom associate with the warm feeling of love. With the launch of Rangrasiya, COLORS, for the first-time, redefines hate while exploring the mystique of love. Theatrically shot in the harsh rugged desert terrains along the boundaries of Rajasthan, Rangrasiya breaks away from the cult of conventional soaps, and sets out to negate all known perceptions of love.  Produced by the makers of the blockbuster love story Madhubala…Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Nautanki Films is all set to unveil yet another great saga with Rangrasiya that premieres on 30th December 2013, every Monday to Friday at 9.30PM, on COLORS.

Speaking about the show, Prashant Bhatt, Weekday Programming Head – COLORS, said, “We share a great working relationship with Nautanki Films and are looking forward to re-creating magic on screen with a gripping and edgy storyline like Rangrasiya. With the show, we wish to unravel a new narrative that captures every emotion including love, hate, joy, sadness, pain, guilt, bitterness, hope, aspiration, and vengeance. Through the compelling portrayal of the explosive relationship between Paro and Rudra who are inadvertently destined to meet, we hope our viewers will enjoy this unconventional love story presented to them.”

Rangrasiya is an edgy love story ignited by intense hatred and fuelled by circumstances that bring a simple village girl, Paro (Sanaya Irani) and army officer, Rudra (Ashish Sharma) together. For Rudra, love is need-based, beauty is deceit, and work is duty and for Paro, love is hope, beauty is extreme and duty is vengeance. The show has been shot extensively across arid terrains and rann of Jaisalmer and dunes of Jodhpur.

Speaking about the launch of his second venture on COLORS with Rangrasiya, Saurabh Tewari from Nautanki Films, said, “My association with COLORS goes back more than five years and the channel’s DNA is engraved in me. The USP of the show is that every character other than the heroine is grey; she has her own journey to endure. There is no villain, but every character is real in terms of characterisation. The hero does not confine to the usual norms that are seen on television today.”

Adding to this, Abhinav Shukla from Nautanki Films, said, “With the success of Madhubala on COLORS, we wanted to raise the bar for Rangrasiya in terms of the visual scale and narrative. From visual conceptualisation, to the scale and experimentation with the characters, everything is real.”

Speaking about her newest venture on television, Sanaya Irani aka Paro, said, “I took up Rangrasiya as a challenge because I was eager to experiment with my character as Paro; and it wasn’t really easy portraying her. Walking barefoot in the scorching desert gave me blisters on the soles of my feet, but that did not deter me in any way. The excitement to do something different enabled me to move on. I am thoroughly enjoying every moment while shooting for Rangrasiya and I hope that my fans will take delight as I reprise the role of Paro.”

Commenting on his role, Ashish Sharma aka Rudra, said, “For portraying the character of Rudra, my keyword was intense. Everything I did, even in my day-to-day life incorporated that sentiment. Rudra is a rebel in every aspect of the word. With my portrayal of Rudra, I hope to find the love of audiences through the despise they feel for my character. That will be my ultimate win!

The story is set in Birpur, a small village that witnesses a grand wedding celebration between borders once every year. One such wedding is that of Paro that is gatecrashed by the BSD, led by Rudra to investigate the illegal smuggling of arms and ammunition. However as fate would have it, this incident shatters Paro’s life leading to an unexpected turn of events.

Rangrasiya boasts of a strong and dynamic ensemble cast which comprises of noted actors like Sadiya Siddiqui, Tarun Khanna, Ananya Khare and Neha Narang who will be seen supporting the lead pair of Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma on the show. Rangrasiya is directed by ace director Siddharth Sen Gupta of Balika Vadhu fame.
