Jo Jo Laali Premiers on World Aids Day

Sundeep Malani's short award winning film Jo Jo Laali, (originally made in Kannada) will have its First World Premiere on Internet via Awaaz TV broadcasting from California. Simultaneously it will also be an Satellite Release on December 1st, which is been considered as World Aids Day.

Jo Jo Laali is a beautiful Kannada film with English subtitles of a classical dancer single mother who discovers that her 4 year old son born of a love affair has AIDS transmitted by her ( from mother to son). The agony of her heartwrenching loss is portrayed through music and dance and the film ends on a note of positivity with a strong message for society in this gripping emotional drama. The film is a musical and emotional story that has won several awards for the team. Actress Kalpana Pandit won the Best Actress Award at the South India Mega Film Contest, while Master Shrey Tejani won the best child actor for his cute performance at the Gujarat International Film Festival. Nevertheless, director Sundeep Malani has been praised for his wonderful screenplay and direction and has won accolades, appreciations and requests for screening at various film festivals and college events to educate the youth. He recently won the Best Director Award at the Super Kidz International Film Festival.

Jo Jo Laali, a lullaby is a Kannada film with a mixture of Hindi and English has Kalpana Pandit, Akash Hora and Shrey Tejani playing central roles. It has music by Ameya Naik and has a Thandav score by Ricky Kej. Produced by House of Pandit, it has story, screenplay, dialogues bythe director Sundeep Malani. The film is been dubbed in Hindi for the Telecast on Awaaz TV on Dec. 1st.
